Introduction

Internet of People (IoP) focuses on personal information collection, characters modeling, and a wide range of applications. Due to the expected pervasion of IoP and its impacts on human activity, it will quickly become an important field and hot interdisciplinary.

This special session on IoP basic models and methods, aims to bring together multidisciplinary contributors among academic and industrial researchers from all related areas to disseminate their findings on the fundamental theories, models, and technological solutions in terms of IoP system. Therefore, this special session addresses the basic models and methodologies related to Internet of People, and help to seek potential collaborations, and push forward the development of IoP.

This special session will be held in conjunction with IoP 2018 (The 4th IEEE International Conference on Internet of People, Guangzhou, China, October 8-12, 2018).

Paper Submission

A submission is limited to 6 pages for a special session paper in the IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Format with Portable Document Format (.pdf). A submission can have at most 2 additional pages with the pages over length charge if accepted. Please submit at: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iop2018 and select IPBMM 2018.

When submitting a paper to this special session, please make sure to choose the Track: IoP Basic Models and Methods (IPBMM) in EasyChair of the main conference.

Paper Publication

All accepted papers will be published in IEEE Computer Society proceedings (EI indexed). At least one author must register and present the work. Papers that are not presented will be removed from the IEEE proceedings. Excellent papers will be selected and invited for extension and publication in special issues of prestigious journals (SCI/EI indexed).
