Workshop on Managing uncertainty in IoT ecosystems

This workshop on “Managing uncertainty in IoT ecosystems” will explore recent trends in identifying and managing of uncertainty in Internet of Things ecosystem.

Topics

This workshop invites submission of paper in the research area of managing uncertainty in IoT ecosystems but not limited to just the IoT segment of Smart cities.

Specific topics include, but not limited to:

•   Legal, policies and governance role for uncertainty in IoT
•   Uncertainty in IoT systems and impact on security
•   IoT Automation and its effect on uncertainty
•   Modelling techniques and framework for identification of uncertainty in IoT systems
•   Uncertainty and its effect on IoT Scalability
•   Prediction, optimization, testing and quantification of Uncertainty
•   Effect of heterogeneity of devices on uncertainty in IoT

Important Dates

•   Workshop paper submission due date: 26 April, 2019
•   Paper acceptance notification: 10 May, 2019
•   Camera-ready submission: 19 May, 2019

Submission Guidelines

All final submissions should be written in English with a paper length of six (6) printed pages. A further 2 pages may be included, however, will incur overlength page charges if accepted. For submission, please follow the instructions provided at IEEE Smart world paper submission guidelines.
